Braga is located around 50km from Porto and from there is quite easy to reach the city.

How to reach Braga from the Airport (Francisco Sá Carneiro):

Metro/Train:

Line E – Violet (Estádio do Dragão – Airport)

Get the metro and leave at Campanhã station. From there you can take a train to Braga. (Takes between 40 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the train). More info here.

Bus:

Direct bus from Porto airport (Price: around 8.00€ and takes 50 minutes)

GetBus (more info here)

Taxi:

The journey takes approximately 40 minutes and the fare is around 60€.


Daily international trains run between Paris-Lisbon (Sud Express), crossing the frontier at Vilar Formoso; between Lisbon-Madrid, crossing the frontier at Marvão; and between Oporto-Vigo, crossing the frontier at Valença
